1st City Lawn Reapers LLC began with a simple question from my son: "Dad, how do I make money?" As a father, I saw this as an opportunity to not just tell him—but to show him. Together, we decided to start a business, and what began as a learning experience for both of us has grown into a thriving, family-operated lawn care service.

Balancing my active-duty Army career and the demands of running a business wasn’t easy, but the lessons we learned along the way were invaluable. From researching the right tools to perfecting the quality of our services, we worked side-by-side, showing my son the value of hard work, perseverance, and serving our community.

Today, 1st City Lawn Reapers LLC is more than just a business—it's a family effort. My wife helps with scheduling and client communications, and my son continues to assist in the field, gaining firsthand experience in the importance of diligence and customer service. What started as a father-son project has grown into a trusted service for homeowners across Leavenworth, Lansing, Fort Leavenworth, Weston, and Bonner Springs.
